New Extension Wine Room
This project is a good example of a client planning wine storage into their build from the start. The wine room was part of a converted barn extension, and although we were contacted later in the build, the client had prepared the space properly for a wine room installation.

The room was ready for cabinets when we arrived, with insulated ceilings, walls and floors already in place, along with a plastered finish and tiled floor.

The brief was for the cabinetry to suit the converted barn style. European oak was chosen, with generous space for wooden wine boxes of all sizes, lattice storage, display shelving and integrated LED mood lighting. An oak-framed tinted glass door was fitted as the main entrance.

This wine room did not require mechanical climate control. Located on the north side of the house and modest in size, the room uses a passive airflow system to maintain stable temperature and humidity levels throughout the year.
